Printing Start-Up with Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

On August 5th, printing of this year’s first issue of Louisiana Revy ‘Marsden Hartley – The earth is all I know of wonder’ began.

The catalogue is published in connection with a large retrospective exhibition of the American painter and poet Marsden Hartley (1877-1943).

To participate in the printing, editor Lærke Rydal Jørgensen and curator Mathias Ussing Seeberg were visiting together with the graphic designer of the book, Anni Vestergaard.

In the last years, Narayana Press has reproduced and printed several publications from Louisiana. Apart from being a museum, Louisiana is also one of the biggest art publishing houses in Denmark.

Here Lærke and Mathias are looking at matchprints in the scanning department and in the adjoining room Anni is reviewing the final corrections. Below is a printed sheet from the richly illustrated catalogue.
