New printing machines at Narayana

Narayana Press has received two new Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106, 8 color perfecting presses. The first one has been in operation since late September 2017, and the other started production in march 2018. They are equipped with groundbreaking UV-LED printing technology, inline color management, simultaneous plate change etc. The machines can print on a paper size of max. 74 x 106 cm. UV-LED is an environmentally friendly printing technique which provides a significantly better printing result especially on uncoated paper qualities. The color scale is clearly better than with the comparable conventional oil-based inks. The print is dry and abrasion resistant at the very moment it comes out of the machine and can receive the final treatment immediately without any risk of smearing.
