When you are a little calf and on your way out into the open, there is a lot to explore.
And then off you go at full speed, wagging your tail like a little piglet...
but in reality are a wild animal that can almost float above the grass.
But also a cute little normal calf.
And his buddy, the “big” calf, galloping around the field ...
almost like a little horse.
Everything comes to an end, and well-behaved calves can go into the barn by themselves (when asked to, sometimes) and when having burnt off their excess energy.
The big one has already learned to go in by itself, but the little one is very quick to learn.
It is also very cozy in the extended calf box in the barn, even though there is only milk in the blue feeding buckets in the morning and evening.
The calving box where the two small calves used to live is now occupied by Shyama with the giant calf. The largest we have seen so far (in 30 years), and you need a lot of milk when you are a “small” giant calf.
